Don't ever let facts get in the way!

The article on the above link may help explain how brains work.

Some of us who think we have the ability to analyse facts and learn from them, should maybe think again.

  • That is not THE story here - THE story here is that YOU actually cited a FOX News story.

"Oh the times they are a changin"..."
  • The link I posted, was supposed to be:

Study: Democrats, Republicans Both Ignore Facts

It shows as such on my computer, and i don't know why another article wouldcome up.

It is todays Fox News and one of the headline topics under the science category.

Sorry if this didn't link properly.

  • I just started reading Thomas Kuhn's book "The structure of scientific revolutions"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Structure_of_Scientific_Revolutions

That Fox article is nothing like that.
  • The Wilkipedia entry makes me want to read SSR too, now.

Of course, you don't expect much depth or unbiased enlightenment from Fox. I tend to look there to see what the others are saying, and usually turn off shaking my head.

However, we are going to learn a bit more about how our brains work, and politicians are going to want to get their thought processes planted in artificial intelligence systems as they develop..... and

find more ways to keep facts and science out of the way.
