VERTICAL VISION’S NEW VISION OF MINARDI

FAENZA, ITALY, May 12, 2005 – The Minardi F1 Team has been sporting a bold new look since the start of the European Formula One season, and it is due to Vertical Vision S.p.A., one of the world’s leading experts in digital printing. Headquartered in Rovello Porro (Como), Vertical Vision has become a valued technical partner and official supplier to the Faenza team for the 2005 season.

Specifically, Vertical Vision has enabled Minardi’s distinctive new red, white and black, chequered flag corporate identity to be adapted and reproduced in a variety of sizes and variations for use on surfaces ranging from the team’s race transporters and motorhomes to garage paneling and flooring, as well as a wide variety of advertising and promotional material. As a result of this new relationship with Minardi, Vertical Vision’s undoubted mastery of the art of digital printing will be on display to a global television audience throughout the 2005 season, as well as to Formula One fans attending rounds of this year’s World Championship.

Vertical Vision will also provide similar support to Minardi’s exciting, eight-car, two-seater Formula One programme (F1x2), based in Ledbury, UK.

Commenting on the partnership with the Minardi F1 Team, the Chief Executive Officer of Vertical Vision S.p.A., Mauro Oliva, says, “Sports sponsorship does not represent a completely new marketing platform for our company, as Vertical Vision is already the title sponsor of Cantù, in the Italian A1 Basketball League.     In all seriousness though, we could do with a few more Sponsors than partners. I know people will say that it doesn't cost us anything, but surely the time put into all of the partnerships could be time spent trying to gather sponsorship. I'm sure quite a bit of time has gone into all of these tech partners. Who cares though if we have great sunglasses and nice looking garages. I'd prefer a decent sponsor putting something worth while into the team.

  • jello, push the envlope. just because someone is moving int he right direction is not a reason to stop pushing. There's a LONG way to go and I thinks its up to us to push the damn marketing department to generate the revenue so that Paul can afford to hire you in a couple of years;)
