  • Hey Quig, I have the Turkey practice copied, still waiting on getting Monza done, my copy guy is out of town so it should be done this weekend and will send it out asap.
  • Cool - I'll have your shirt out soon.
  • Quig, a quick lesson in Spanish:

short for Barcelona, the city, is Barna

Barca is only in referrence to the football club (what you yanks call soccer)!!

  • Nice to see another Protégé of GCM's get to drive a Minardi! Viva la France.
  • Maybe Juan should have stayed ikn Europe - he quali'd last in the CART race - 8 seconds off pole. He has a one race deal - more based on performance.....

Maybe he should based on those practise times from 3000, good to see our regular guys doing very well 1st and 3rd also 8th for the new guy pretty good considering he's got zero experience of the car!!

Lets hope they keep it up:cool:

  • Listen to the race live Race Commentary

    In Italian
  • YEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! :D

Great race by Rodriguez! Started in pole (behind the safety car), and finished at first place, with a huge margin on Ricci!

Rocha 5th and Rigon 6th... good day for Minardi!

What an emotion to watch Minardi win a race... just a pity for the poor attendance, but for tomorrrow are awaited more than 100.000 pepole at Barna.

    Let's hope in a bis!! ;)
  • Even sounded sweet listening to the commentary with my basic Italian. The team were very optimistic of a win with Roland here. Glad to see it happen.
  • Team unbeaten in two races. Go Roldan!
  • Woo hooo!

    FORZA MINARDI!
  • Quick question - why does the Euro 3000 site refer to the track as "Montmelò" or have we been callin it the wrong name ?
  • Great result, again. Clean sweep in race 2??

Glad you were there pegli, cheering them on:cool:
  • Montmelò - the area which the circuit is situated
  • Man - what is the delay with race 2 results????
  • Petrov wins race 2 Rigon 2nd for Minardi! Tuka Rocha 4th and Rodriguez 10th I believe there was some interesting issues in the race!
  • Impressive debut then for Rigon and good to get Tuka 4th, what are these issues???? details man, details
  • Tuka Rocha was looking good for victory but got a drive through penalty late on for jumping the start. Also the Fissi cars seemed to have issues with each other and another driver.
    Report on race 2 HERE

Nice one for Rigon though it just proves GCM certainly can pick talent.

  • Go you good things!!!

    FORZA MINARDI............
  • Bravo.

Montmelo is a little town about 30 mins outside of Barca. Nice little walk up through the town to the track, if you go by train. Brings back memories of yellow Minardis and Alonso in F3000 ...
  • Things just keep geting better every race now.Have to take my hat off to Davide Rigon what a job he did on his first race for Minardi.Already think Tuka Rocha and Rodriguez are big stars off the future.
  • i know i should know but rigon's name rings a bell. what was the name of the french guy who tested with minardi in 1998?
  • Wasn't that Laurent Redon?
