Yes, well, Baku is a well-known hotbed of motor racing so this is long overdue. I look forward to seeing the grandstands packed with petrolhead Azeris revelling in their government-subsidised GP. The bumper crowds at Bahrain, China and Russia prove that this is the way to go. Bravo CVC!
  • Even from this faraway I felt the pangs of sarcasm. Well said old boy.
  • You can't always be sure with viges, I think he might have indeed snuck a bit of sark in there :)
  • Planning to go to Azerbaijan, hoping to be the only fan there for Formula 1.
I was in Qatar for MotoGP in 2005 and the Sri Lankan taxi driver did not even know the trach existed (just 8 miles from Doha.....) and refused to take an appointment to pick me up on the way back as it was "too far".......

The incredible thing is they even had the counter-proof with the grat success of the Austrian and Mexico returns!!! Take F1 back to bloody France and Holland, f----in'hell!!!
