An all NEW gearbox for Minardi?!

Yes, I think it may be true here. The one part that I feared would be carried over, appears to be new as well. From AtlasF1:
The lead time on our bellhousings alone is 16 weeks. That's four months."
Sounds like an all new box is on the way, not a Jordan-esque gearbox spacer. :cool:

    Sounds like a new housing rather than a new box. BTW Renault have reverted to a six speed box as well.

    I imagine the internals will remain much the same, but a new housing is quite nice in and of itself. New suspension geometry will do wonders for handling.
