  • I also agree with benching him for a year, infact sign him for three and bench him arse for all 3 years and put Davidson in his place at Williams so he can see what he could of done.
  • Ummm, I'm tempted to make a comment about them planning against the McLaren chef. Doesn't that mean you already have................
  • It should actually be a true test of how good he is as the cars are all the same apart from set up. I wish him all the luck.

  • If the money means more windtunnel work then fine, but this has not been given to him on merit and that's where Minardi can loose its way. There is more value in testing a hard charger for very little, at least you'll get more respect from the publ…
  • do we still owe them money from the Rumi days?
  • I thought it was off the car, when did it go back on???
  • It's been a long time since a driver stayed at Minardi for more than a year. However, I really can't see Midlands being a better option. Looking up and down the grid and for the first time I can't see any options for Albers to take. I hope he can …
  • Pole -JPM 1st -JPM 2nd -Alonso 3rd - MS 1st DNF - Tiago Albers - 15th Doorknob - 17th [Edited on 26/7/2005 by Manni]
  • The fact is that there are only 10 licences out there. If you buy outside of the licences you have to fork out 40 mill. Therefore Minardi can provide a good option to test the waters for a manufactuer. But it will never happen.........
  • potentially his dad
  • That picture is bloody awesome. No caption just a bloody good laugh when a pitcure says a thousand words.
  • I was crying at lunch and then to wake up with the POMS at 7/90 odd was awesome. People were selling 4th day tickets, for 200 quid. Looks like its not going to even get that far.

  • I'd rather have someone who can pinpoint inadequacies in the chassis. You must be talking about Nissany........:P
  • I don't get it. He has enough money for Jordan but not for Minardi? How expensive is our third seat? Or can drivers not see the value in it? It's like having a apartment that isn't rented. I'd rather have someone in the seat paying us a little mon…
  • How about.... "You've driven on the Turkish track when it was still dirt in a porsche. What will the anticipation be when you drive out in an F1 car with a stand full of Turks........ I take it that you won't be driving with a Pide in your hand."
  • So here is a team that's been burnt so many times with sponsors and drivers a like when it comes to payment. Shame for Pat, who seems like a pretty nice guy. He's just been screwed. But hey business is business and sometimes you have to roll with t…
  • I agree, even the smallest sponsors could turn or grow into the largest sponsors. This is disapointing.

  • Seriously, this is where I ewish Paul put his hand in his pocket and sponsored a young charger instead of someone my dad's age to race in the car. 3rd driver I'd be fine with, but racing......I hope not, although massimo was giving him a bit of a wr…
  • THanks for spotting my scores......m
  • Pole: Kimi 1st: Kimi 2nd: JPM 3rd: Alonso First DNF: Tiago - his luck has to run out shortly. Albers: 16 Pat(or other): DNF
  • actually if you look at the speedo it only hitting 280Km/h. That is not too flash, even by our standards.
  • Look if he doesnt like the V8 he can get out........:P
  • Look if he doesnt like the V8 he can get out........:P
  • Point taken on my earlier comment. But I don't think anyone knows the politics of what is going on behind the scenes. As a small team we have virtually no power or influence of how things happen in our sport. The only way Paul can get things done…

  • When the choice is between 'Weird' and 'Goddamn disgrace,' weird should win out every time. Since it didn't, and Max is the one person who under the circumstances could have seen that it did, it then is his fault. agree agree agree
in Paul Stoddart Comment by Manni July 2005
  • Well stick by your guns and follow another team. I am a great supporter of Paul because he believes in what is right for F1. I don't think Max can say that he is in the same boat. If the sport was so important like max says he would of found a wa…

  • I still think he could do the same in an F1 car. Bloody shame he was wasted in F1. Top bloke, agree and now a winner.

  • There were so few passes this race. I have how we are not doing to things in the forula. Controling tyres and regulating areo so that it is easier to pass. There has to be a solution.........

  • I'd rather a hard charger for no money. Hiekki on a loan from renault even. Flavio has done it before. Twice for us even with Alonso and Webber.
  • the only reason we do well in the rain is because we go so slow and everyone else crashes. Good luck to us in any conditions.
