Beta has been one of the most reliable and long-serving sponsor/supplier of the [[Faenza]] outfit. For more than thirty years, the company that was born in 1939, has been involved in motor racing, supplying the motorsport world with all the necessary tools. Before sponsoring our beloved team, Beta had a long series of sponsorships, including that of [[Ferrari]] from 1976 to 1982. In that period, Jodi Scheckter won the championship with the Maranello team. Beta also had a stable relationship with Eddie Jordan's team. Beta was also connected with football (Juventus), and bikes (Barros and Valentino Rossi).

According to its website: "Beta has always been a key player in bringing about constant product developments and anticipating market needs. This effort has made the orange colour characteristic of Beta tools synonymous with quality and advanced technology". Beta production is distributed over three separate plants, which together employ 500 personnel. In 1995 the company secured Quality System certification to international ISO 9901 series standards, the most comprehensive and coveted of all specifications. Nowadays, Beta is offering the market some 5000 items and is widely considered at the pinnacle of quality in this sector. Beta items include aeronautical tools, sockets and accessories, multipliers and torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, insulated and spark-proof tools, measuring and marking, vehicle and body repair, grips and clamps, screwdrivers and electronic tools, cutters, files, plumbing, pullers, drills, chisels, safety footwear, cable accessories and safety footwear.

A personal comment. whenever I think of [[MartiniPierluigi Pierluigi Martini]] who was the most succesful Minardi driver of all times, the Beta Logo always appear somewhere at the back of my mind. Somehow, [[MartiniPierluigi Pierluigi]]'s cars are still totally imprinted forever in my memory!
