Because the Ferrari engines were too expensive the team decided to get powered by the Lamborghini V12. Gianni Morbidelli was joined by the talented Brazilian driver Christian Fittipaldi. Fittipaldi (former F3000 champion) managed to get the team's only point at the Japanese GP.
