The M195A was a completely new car. Featuring a semi-automatic gearbox and automatic clutch it was powered by a Ford engine (EDM V8). Luca Badoer and Pierluigi Martini were the drivers. Pierluigi was replaced by Pedro Lamy later in the season who fetched the only point for the team by coming in 6th in Australia.
