  • In almost every interview I see at Dutch tv, people are saying this election is about choosing the less worst.

    I hope Berlusconi looses.
  • I WILL BET ON PRODI.

    HE IS THE MAN!

    FORZA SINISTRA!

    FORZA UNIONE!

    FORZA!
  • Exit polls:

    Prodi : 51-55 %
    Berlusconi : 45-49 %

Too close to call I think.
  • time is 10.30pm
    they are head to head
berlusconi is leading with a very very slight advantage... let's hope the final results are different!
it's incredible how the exit polls got it all wrong!
  • wouldn't be the first time...

love how the people on rai manage to get five subordinate clauses into one sentence without saying ANYTHING :P
  • Lets pick a winner

Aplogies for the other content. If under 18, then piss off.
  • What's next: a recount by Jeb Berlusconi?
  • It's a slight victory for Prodi
  • yes Biker, Berlusca still didn't admit he lost the election!

And it seems Prodi has now the majority at both Houses!
  • the Italians abroad fried Silvio! ha ha!
  • I saw that he wouldn't step down on the CNN ticker today and had a nice chuckle.
  • Can't believe the Italians would elect such an overt lefty.
  • Well done, the Italians did their maths right.
  • So, even though Berlusconi still sticks to his seat, it seems that even after Jeb's recount (eheeh) Bandana Man lost!

(can you hear the bells ring?)

It took long, but the day has come. Halleluja

The point is that half Italy voted again for the man. That's weird.

In the end, the gap between centreleft and centreright is about 20 thousand votes in all Italy (more than 40 million voters).

    Neil is the winner.
  • I wish the US could get that kind of turnout..
  • Sooner or later salvo, berlusca the bandana man has to concede defeat!

    Ha ha ha!
  • they still didn't
and today the right again contested Pordi's victory. I can feel coup d'etait in the air.
  • haha in bari maybe :P
  • calderoni is really a shame!
  • what a plonker, bring back berlu

    Times Article
  • They both are.
