    one died, the other survives the crash by jumping with the parachute.

    It was on the news down here tonight, Neil. I think most channels had the footage.

    According to this article its the first fatal air accident in Malta since 1982.

    I do not remember the 1982 incident however this looked very horrible because it happened when a lot of people were looking and also because next week, the Malta international air show kicks off.

    I am not really into aviation however the way the incident happened, it seems that the first pilot made a swift manouver and left his line of flight and the second plane hit him, though I am conversant with the rules of this sports. Anyway, though luck for the pilot who died and his family.
