The Situation at Cosworth

With engine manufacturers having to hand over a sealed unit from the Chinese GP, one hope that Cosworth finds a customer.
If not then 150 people will be out of work and a technology base in the Uk will close. Their situation cannot have been helped by some uncharitable hacks trying to blame the Cossie engine for Williams woeful performances.

    Yes, it would be a great shame to see them go. Minardi relied on Cossie for most of its existence.

    Things look pretty desperate, unless Bernie convinces Syker to sign up with them.

    And Cosworth would have been a key part of any hopes there were of F1 retaining a privateer ethos, as opposed to Grandees and Customers setup.
