  • Well thats pretty incredible. Makes me wonder why one would run your windtunnel 24/7 if CFD can produce the same results.
  • Ghosty, 2 questions; How the devil are you and where have you been? Its good to see that you're still around!
  • Seems like the old sod is not going to give up easily. He really is a lunatic. Did anyone see his interview on the BBC before the British Grand Prix, everyone who disagreed with him was classes as a "loonie". I wonder if that included Bernie as wel…
  • I think Moseley/Bernie are in the weaker position. Yes they have the FIA sanctioned event, but 5 teams, all probably running Cosworth V8's? Who's gonna pay for that wedding?
  • F1 without manufacturers, then who's going to pay for the technology? The days of F1 as a spec series are long gone.
  • Fat Lady is on the stage!!!

  • Barrichello is a professional number 2. Its time he faced up to it.
  • It seems the new regs have only allowed cars to follow closer before disrupted by the turbulence. It would make sense to allow the non KERS runners to have 20 000 rpm limit to counter the 80bhp advantage of KERS.
  • Most excellent!!!!
  • Looks like its all over. Testing ban and the way the points are awarded should preclude any big team mounting a challenge to Brawn.
  • I think Bernie does not want a British GP period.
  • Yes I can remember that to. Adelaide 1989, if I'm not mistaken.
  • Champ car drivers don't race in the rain. Might explain SeaBass' discomfort.
  • It looks interesting. TOIT are in a hole..... but they can still turn it around. The problem is testing is banned so its a case of run what you brung! As I see it Renault, Macca, TOIT and BMW all have the ability to improve dramatically. The fact t…
  • Around Barcelona KERS is worth 0.3s a lap. A DD is worth around 0.5s a lap without the weight penalty. No doubt KERS will help you defend your position but if the faster car gets past he pulls away. Look at Alonso versus Webber in Malaysia.
  • KERS has been a terrible distraction for the teams. The teams that thought it was not worth the performance benefit should have stuck to their guns. Its heavy, limits available ballast and takes the energy from the engine in the braking zone making…
  • Bigois? Wasn't he the guy who produced an endless line of trolley cart handling cars starting with his first effort for Prost. I think the Brawn advantage stemmed from the fact that Ross Brawn headed up the OWG at the FIA, so if anyone would know w…
  • I think the way to go is doble diffusor and non KERS. Kers is just too big a weight penalty to carry. Will the other teams be able to build their new cars in time to catch Brawn.
  • Roo, Brawn are hardly an underdog. Hond put a lead time of 16 months and £180 million into that chassis. Albert Park is an anomalous track. Lets see where everyone is at Malaysia. Brawn seem only to have a 0.3s advantage over the runners without a …

  • Just revert back to the old points system of 10 6 4 3 2 1. Thats restores the differential between first and second and by allowing only the first 6 finishers to score puts the emphasis back on racing.
  • Oznomad, Durban under lights was a trial run for the English conditions. Seth Efrica ( please say with a stong Afrikaans accent) folded! Their batting lineup is way better than anything England can find, unless they're thinking of exhuming Dennis Co…
  • I don't see Buemi lasting out the season given the capricious nature of the STR management. If I were Bruno Senna I would bide my time on the sidelines and wait for an opening.
  • Mate, lookes like like Cricket Australia have a bush fire roaring away that no-one can put out. How many did the lats 3 wickets put on at the MCG?
  • Why on earth did they change the pitch? I remember the glory years of Windies quick bowlers going to the WACA and blasting out the opposition. What a pity!!!
  • C'mon Roo how can you say that. I know you lost at the WACA but it was an exciting match as was India's run chase in Chennai. It just goes to show that the longer game is as absorbing as ever. PS your bats must be dreading the new referral scheme, …
  • Yes one has to wonder what the ECB was thinking getting into bed with Stanford. Even the incompetent West Indies Cricket Board management kept him at arms length.
  • AFAIK know its just the engine, gearbox, drivetrain with associated KERS. They still have to do their own aero and weight distribution and wheelbase. Mind you having the rear end ready made with the suspension attached there is not a lot left to des…
  • When Di Grassi raced full time in GP2 he won only one race in a season. He finished runner up because he was consisten not as a result of being quick. Senna has only been racing full time single seaters for the past 5 years, plus he was tutored in k…
  • Was it me or did Hamilton's girlfriend give the impression that the wheels turning but the hamster's dead
  • Well, Don't think there will ever be a more exciting champonship. Afraid next year will be difficult to call. Vettel is phonomenally good. Inferior car under greasy conditions and he made Clewlis look ordinary. What the F*** was Glock doing. 1 ' 4…
